I have several clients which use windows XP. When I have them initiate the remote assistance. I can click the the accept the invitation the clience sees that I have accepted the remote assistance .....but that's as far as i goes. I have disabled the firewall and still have same issue. I have successfully connected to my client computers before with windows xp. I am however able to connect to there computers with creating a remote desktop account on their computer. Has anyone else runto this problem??

Problems with remote assistance??
Hi Chris, I've been having the same problem when trying to connect to my clients through remote assistance. I got around it by using log me in. www.logmein.com I have no problem connecting when using this program, all the client has to do is ring me then I can log into their machine without any problem. It does involve installing a program on the clients pc, I've been using it for 3 months now and have no need to use remote assistance any more. Hope this helps you out. -- Ghost
